Eight jewelry sets created with gemstones collected over years of research.

·

Eight goddess names.

·

Eight archetypical energies that have been shaping the stories of female mythologies throughout centuries.

·

Eight stories portrayed through the delicate eyes of Jorgelina Zabert, whose collaboration in this project turned into a fecund dialogue on femininities and their profound and impactful mysteries in our lives.

·

A celebration of beauty and all of its facets, as well as its significance.

·

This is an invitation to feel bonded to the stories that have connoted beliefs and rituals, celebrations, and often, hard times in our cultural history. A connection inspired by myth and converged by the stones conforming each piece, whose earthy qualities help each of us connect with the energies we need to embody at any particular moment of our own individual lives.

·

At the same time, it is also an invitation to challenge those stories, to re-shape and re-invent them in the present day through our intimate search.

·

Some of us may live according to myths and symbols inherited from religious traditions and those myths may still work in leading us along our paths. For others, those stories may have turned meaningless and arid.

·

Nevertheless, mythological images are a powerful means to connect our conscious with our unconscious. When we lack those symbols, we may feel disconnected from the deepest dimensions of ourselves.

·

The belief inspiring this jewelry collection is that finding our own myth and embodying it constitutes a subtle, but important, change of perspective towards ourselves.

·

Creating a symbolic discourse around the everyday act of ornamenting our bodies also means to recognise the heroism of our every step, the value of every invisible, but still transcendental, battle that takes place within us.
